Q: How do I get my PayNearMe mobile barcode and payslip? A: Contact your property management team to request your mobile barcode/printed payslip. Each resident responsible for payment will be issued an electronic barcode payslip containing a unique identification number. eCards must be presented during each transaction to ensure a secure payment to the correct account.
Q: How do I pay my rent at a PayNearMe location? A: Take your mobile barcode or printed payslip containing your unique identification number to the customer service center of a participating location. You will need to know the amount due and include any additional fees associated at the time of the transaction. A transaction fee of $3.99 will be added to your payment. Proof of payment will be provided upon completion.
Q: Are there any additional costs for using my PayNearMe mobile barcode/printed payslip? A: There is a small $3.99 transaction fee each time you make a payment PayNearMe.
Q: Are same day payments available? A: Payments will be credited the same day you make a payment at a participating location, but please note payments pay take 24 hours from your very first use. Check with your property management team for additional information regarding payment timing and late fees.
Q: What if I overpay, can I get a refund? A: Any overpayment will be considered a credit with your property manager. Refunds are not possible through PayNearMe.
Q: What if I forget my mobile barcode/payslip? A: Consult your leasing office for additional details. As a reminder, the mobile barcode/payslip does not contain personal information and can ONLY be used to pay your specific rent.
Q: What if I move? A: Your mobile barcode/payslip is only valid for your specific property and unit number. Your barcode may be transferred between units in the same apartment community. Check with your property management team for details.
